Mayor Michael Grötsch is pleased that the Mile of Innovation now commemorates the "Mannheim Gene" decoded under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Fokko van der Woude. At the ceremony on October 18, 2018 to inaugurate the plaque sponsored by the company Bouwfonds, we were able to welcome not only its managing director Franz-Josef Lickteig, but also the Riet family, Diane and Joanne van der Woude, who had come closer from the Netherlands.
